Wintringham Millennium Pond, near Malton

And now for something completely different - how about a Millennium Pond? Coming off the Wolds Way at about mile 55, the weary rambler passes over a little footbridge by a ford to be greeted by a fully refurbished pond. This interesting little enterprise by the local community was supported by funding from Awards for all (lottery grants for local groups).
