Following my visit to Argentina in
September 2003, I was very pleased to launch an overseas section of this website.
Although new bridges of bold design are being constructed all over the world all
the time, the idea of actually commemorating the Millennium by the construction
of a bridge seems to be a specifically British idea. This section of the website
is likely to grow but slowly, but suggestions for new entries are always
welcome.
