Other Millennium bridges

Inspired by the bridge at Lancaster, I have now embarked on a wider project to record many more of the bridges which have been constructed up and down the country to commemorate the Millennium, although it will take quite a while to get round to them all.

In general the principle I have followed is to include bridges which:

  1. carry cyclists and pedestrians, but not motor traffic
  2. cross watercourses (not roads or railways)
  3. are of engineering interest or aesthetic merit
  4. are in the UK.

but there are exceptions.
